JOB TITLE: Front Desk Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Executive Assistant to CEO
DEPARTMENT: Administration
STATUS: FT Non-Exempt
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Professionally and efficiently, attend to visitors and handle inquiries on the phone and face to face. General duties include answering incoming calls, directing calls and traffic as appropriate, Mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, filing, as well as additional related duties.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phones, (100% of incoming calls) providing information and direction to callers and routing accordingly
- Take and relay messages
- Provide information to internal and external parties as appropriate
- Welcome visitors and assist with inquiries, needs, and notification of staff as applicable. Ensure security by monitoring front door and maintaining protocol for safe entry.
- Oversee volunteer logbook.
- As needed, assist with special events, general administrative and clerical support
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
- Receive deliveries when necessary and notify recipients
- Acquire and sustain a sound working knowledge of Lebanon Rescue Mission, our ministries, staff, departments and projects, as well as other ministries and non-profits in our community and their pertinent information
- Keep immediate supervisor well-informed of problems identified or potential problems, recommending corrective action as relevant
- Maintain office supplies, order supplies as needed and maintain the supply of all LRM forms.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to staff and mission residents; run point for outgoing mail
- Respect confidentiality in all interactions, safeguarding such information of clients, staff, volunteers and LRM
- Exhibit a genuine concern for visitors and others; always conduct oneself courteously, appropriately and professionally
- Attend LRM special events and staff meetings
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Committed Christian, able and willing to share the gospel of Christ through words and actions
- Compassionate towards homeless, addicted, mentally ill and poor
- Professional, courteous and efficient
- Strong customer service skills; able to fully, clearly, and personably address inquiries, provide information and engage donors, visitors, and volunteers
- Able and willing to accurately receive, record and direct inquiries
- Able to quickly grasp and maintain full working knowledge of Lebanon Rescue Mission phone and voicemail system
- Legible and accurate writing and spelling skills
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of Word and Excel, internet and Email
- Type 40 wpm
- Posture toward learning, not afraid to take initiative, adaptive with a positive attitude
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Six months+ related experience
Associates degree preferred
