Agape Family Shelter receives 2014 grant award from The Women’s Fund!

This past year, Agape Family Shelter received a generous $1,620.00 award from The Women’s Fund, a partner of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC). With this funding, we were able to install a new state-of-the-art shelter security system. Now our resident women and children can feel safe and secure 24/7, especially after dark.

Having the distinction of being one of the oldest community foundations in the country, TFEC is a leading source of aid for nonprofits in our area. The Women’s Fund helps to provide positive, life-changing services for women and girls. Through the generosity of both agencies, Agape Family Shelter has been able to improve the safety of our home and reach out to a greater number of women and girls in crisis. We are honored to have been selected as a 2014 Women’s Fund award recipient.
